Phase 4 of 12

The Tabernacle - pattern of "heaven itself"

The Tabernacle of Moses has been recorded in God's Word to explain what it means to be a new creature in Christ, (i.e. born again-2Cor.5:17-21, John.3:1-8) seated together with Christ in heavenly places.
(Eph.2:6) Within this pattern is our the everyday job description as a "royal priesthood." (1Peter.2:5-9, Rev.1:6;5:10) The purpose for introducing the Tabernacle of Moses as phase four, is to confirm that God is working according the blueprint of Israel's journey. (Phase 2) This pattern will add to, and expand the blueprint that has already been established.

The Tabernacle is a "schoolmaster to bring us to Christ.

The Tabernacle of Moses is profitable  in the New
Testament Church
.(2Tim.3:16)
The 1st. century Church continued in the "apostles doctrine" (Acts.2:42) The Tabernacle is part of the "apostles doctrine." (Heb.1-13, 1Peter.2:5-9, Luke.24:44-45 (Acts.28:20,23Gal.1:11-12)

The Tabernacle of Moses is profitable for reproof (2Tim.3:16)

Proof, conviction, to confute, admonish. The writer of Hebrews uses the Tabernacle to bring reproof. "He that despised Moses' law died without mercy...how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God" counting the "blood of the Covenant...an holy thing?"(Heb.10:28-29)

The Tabernacle of Moses is profitable for correction (2Tim.3:16)

Correction made by the washin with the water of the Word. (Eph.5:26) This word "washing" is a laver, a bath. Before the priests could minister unto the Lord in the Tabernacle, they had to wash in the Laver, (Exod.30:17-21) "that they die not." In the "true" Tabernacle, it is the Word of God that corrects us before we minister unto the Lord. We don't die physically, however we decieve ourselves thinking all is well because of no physical consequences. This has eternal consequences!

The Tabernacle is profitable for instruction in righteousness (2Tim.3:16)

Righteousness is right standing with God, through the redeeming blood of Christ. The Tabernacle is used by the New Testament writer to instruct that the blood of animals could never take away sin, only Christ's blood can. (Heb.10:1-10) Now we have boldness to "enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus."(Heb.10:19, Lev.16) "Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience"(Heb.10:22, Lev.16:19) "Our bodies washed" (Heb.10:22, Exod.30:17-21)

"That the man of God may be perfect (complete)"
throughly (proficent, skilled expert, well fitted) furnished (fully equipped). The Tabernacle again used to explain that the Levitical priesthood could never bring perfection.
When God said the Tabernacle is Profitable, how can man say it is not? (Deut.12:32, Prov.30:6, Rev.22:18)

A Brief Summary of the Tabernacle (Exod.25-40)

The Tabernacle is divided into three divisions. The Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy place. The Outer Court was fenced in with only one entrance. In this court yard was The Brazen (Brass) Altar where the animals were sacrificed to atone for sin. Next was the Brazen Laver. where the Priests were required to wash before ministering unto the Lord. The Holy Place housed the Candlestick, Table of Shewbread and the Altar of Incense. This also had only one entrance, no windows. The Most Holy Place was where God's very presence was and the Ark of the Covenant. There was a Vail that divided these two rooms. (Exod.40:1-38) Only one entrance! [Note: The furniture of the Tabernacle had a specific place. No Exceptions! The reason is because the placement of these pieces of furniture foreshaows how to approach God.]

   The Outer Court  (Exod.27:9-19)

The wall was made of fine twine linen (God's Righteousness-Rev.19:7-8, (Isa.64:6, 2Cor.5:21) which directed God's people to the Door / Gate.(Jesus-John.14:6, Matt.7:13-14) Once inside the gate the invidual must accept or reject the Brazen Altar (the blood atonement of Christ- Heb.9:11-14;10:4,12) This is Passover Lamb.
(Phase 2)
1517 A.D. Reformation. Next, the Brazen Laver must be visited. (Water Baptiam / Holiness and separation-Rom.6:1-6 Put off the Old man, reckon yourself dead indeed to sin) This is the Red Sea. (Phase 2) 1800's A.D. [Note: For those that desire to "draw nigh unto God" (James.4:8) they must experience the truths of these two pieces of furniture] Notice how the Tabernacle pattern is following the same as Israel's journey

The Holy Place (The Tabernacle / Sanctuary)

There is yet another door, which points to Christ. (John.10:7) Inside this door was the anointing oil that was in the Candlestick (the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, the anointing oil of God in the Church - Heb.1:9, Acts.10:38, Rev.1:20) This is arriving at Sinai (Review Phase 2) 1906 A.D. [Note: Chart on home page] Once again, the Tabernacle pattern is following the same pattern as Israel's journey from Egypt to Solomon's Temple
The Table of Shewbread is our communion and fellowship of the saints. The "table" points to our fellowship (1Kings.18:9, Psa.23:5; 128:3, 1Cor.10:21, 2Sam.9:13) The "Bread" points to our fellowship / life sustaining (Gen.3:19;21:14;41:54, Exod.16:1-26, Deut.8:3, Matt.4:4, John.6:53, Matt.26:26, 1Cor.10:16) This is leaving Sinai and heading to the Land (Review Phase 2) 1967 A.D. This is where the overlay of the Tabernacle adds to the pattern. The Altar of Incense is our worship and prayer. (Psalm.141:2, Rev.8:3) This is in the land, arriving at the Tabernacle of David (Review Phase 2 & 7) 1970-90's + A.D. [Since the 1906 A.D. until our present day, our generation (and the overlaping generation before us) has had the "honor" (Prov.25:1-2) of experiencing the truths of the Candlestick, the Table of Shewbread, and presently the Altar of Incense.]

Next, was the "Veil"  that divided between the Holy place and Most Holy

The Veil divided (Exod.26:33) between the Holy Place and The Most Holy Place. Matthew and Paul by the Spirit of God (2Tim.3:16) connects the "Veil" with the Cross. (Matt.27:50-51, Heb.10:20, Isa.53:5, 1Cor.11:24) At the Cross Jesus gave Himself (Eph.5:25)and paid the full price (1Cor.6:20) for the Church. "Not my wiil, but thine be done" (Luke.22:42) This is David paying "the full price" for building site of the Temple - 1Chron.21:22-24, 2Chron.3:1-2 (Review Phase 2) 200-? A.D.   From the Reformation (1517 A.D.) until our present day, God has been faithful to His pattern. (Blueprint, Model, Sketchy outline) There is NO doubt, He will finish what He started. God is a finisher. (Luke.14:25-33) This is what's next! "He that hath an ear, let him hear what Spirit saith unto the Churches" (Rev.3:14-22) This is where the pattern gives prophetic insight into what is ahead of the Church. It tells us what to listen for.

Some may ask the question, "I thought I had access at ANYTIME to go through the Veil?"

Why is this study saying, it is yet to come? The answer is, the Tabernacle is like a measuring stick, tape measure, a ruler." It can be applied to any part of the body of Christ, because it is a pattern of "heaven itself." (Heb.9:23-24) God does not change. (Mal.3:6, Heb.13:8) For example: What begins our approach to God? It is the blood atonement. (The Brazen Altar) This pattern is true as we are born again, the Redemptive Week (The Law to bring us to Christ), and in the Restoration of the Church (The Reformation). Next in our approach to God, is water baptism. (The Brazen Laver) This pattern is true as we are Water Baptized, the Redemptive Week, and the Restoration of the Church (1800's). Next is our Holy Spirit Baptism, (Going into the Holy place and the oil in the Candlestick) This pattern is true as we are Baptised in the Holy Ghost, the Redemptive Week (the 5th.& 6th.day / The Church age), and the Restoration of the Church (1906). The Holy Place is where the Church is  presently, experinecing the truths of the Candlestick, the Table of Shewbread and the Altar of Incense, preparing to move on and complete the pattern. (Note: Eph.4:11-16)

Like Noah, we are preparing "for things not as seen Yet" (Heb.11:7)

The Most Holy Place, the ultimate, "the prize of the high calling"

The Most Holy Place was where the Ark of the Covenant was placed. This was where God's very presence was. (Exod.25:10-22; 40:1-38) This Most Holy Place was restricted to only the high priest  once a year on the day of atonement,(Lev.16, Heb.9:7) during the feast of Tabernacles, in the seventh month.(Lev.23:23-44) It  is no coincidence, that Solomon's Temple, was dedicated in the feast that was in the seventh month, (2Chron.5:3) which was the end of Israel's journey. (Deut.12:1-12, 1Chron.17:1-15;22:1-19) Review Phase 2. The Most Holy was the end of the pattern. This is the Church being completed and cleansed, prepared as a Bride (Review Phase 2 & 11) 200_? A.D. This is a prophetic Shadow / pattern of  the Last Day Church.
Note:The pattern calls for only those that "measure" up to "the stature of the fulness of Christ." (Eph.4:11-16) "our High Priest" (Heb.3:1) can enter within the veil  Why? Because the Bride cannot be unequally yoked! (2Cor.6:14-18) Remember, Eve was made to be a help meet for Adam, completing him because the rib was taken from him. (Gen.2:18-25) This is a "figure" (Rom.5:14) of Christ, "the last Adam," and His Bride, the Church. (1Cor.15:45, Eph.5:21-33, 2Cor.11:3)
________________________________________________________________________________________________

There remains a third pattern to overlay, Israel's journey from Egypt to Solomon's Temple and The Tabernacle of Moses. The Feasts of Israel (Phase 8,9 and 11) will establish this doctrine of the blueprint. (Deut.19:15, Matt.18:16, 2Cor.13:1) This is evident already in Phase 2 and 4.
