Phase 3 of 12

Phase two establishes a blueprint for God's purpose, which is His Church. (Eph.3:1-12, Matt.16:18) This third phase provides the time frame for the Church to built, according to the blueprint (pattern) Note: There is no scripture that says "Redemptive Week," this is a term that is used to explain God's plan to redeem man back to Himself. The word "week" is used because God always works within the framework of weeks.(Heb. "sevens")  Gen.1:1-31; 2:1-3, Exod.31:12-17; 32:12, Lev.23:44; 25:1-7, Exod.21:1-6, 2 Chron.36:21 / Dan.9:2, Deut.31:10, Lev.25:8-17)

God does have a Redemptive Clock that is running out

God's Clock

The apostle Peter used God's clock when responding to the scoffers of his day when they said "where is the promise of His coming?" (2Peter.3:1-9, Psalm.90:4) He said,"The Lord is NOT slack (tardy, late) He is right on time! One day with the Lord is as a thousand of our years. God's clock is different than yours. He told these scoffers to remember the flood, and the Word that God gave to Noah.

The same Word that came to pass in Noah's day, is the same Word that is keeping the heavens and earth "in store reserved unto fire against the day of judgement."
(2Peter.3:6-7

God does have a clock (or a set time for Redemption
to be completed)

Jesus said as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Coming of the Son of man. (Matt.24:37) Time expired then,, and time will expire again. When the seventh trumpet sounds, the mystery of God is finished. (Rev.10:7) Redemption time expires! Peter, Paul and John all spoke of the "last days" (Acts.2:17, Heb.1:2, 1Peter.1:5,20, 1John.2:18) Paul told the Thessalonian Church to comfort themselves with the promise of Christ's return in the first century. How much more should the Church today be on alert looking for the Second Coming!

The clock begins with the fall of Adam and Eve (Gen.3:1-24)

When Adam and Eve fell into sin, Jesus was taken as our Passover Lamb, and the Redemptive plan began. Jesus was foreordained to be the Lamb of God before the beginning of the world, but was not taken until the fall. (1Peter.1:18-20) (Review Phase 2) Note: Adam and Eve were told, "in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Gen.2:17) However, Adam lived 930 years. (Gen.5:5) Adam died spiritually that 24 hour day, (Gen.3)and did not complete his 1000 year day. (Nobody did) A study of the "begats" (Gen.5) beginning with Adam, places Abraham approximately 2,000 years after the fall of Adam and Eve. These are the first two days (i.e. 2,000 years) of God's Redemptive Week.

Abraham to Christ - 2,000 years (Another two days)

Abraham can be placed chronologically 1921-2000 before Christ. This accounts for four days of God's Redemptive Week. Now apply the pattern of the Passover Lamb.(Exod.12:3-6) The Lamb was to be taken and kept for four days before being sacrificed to deliver Israel out of bondage. (Review Phase 2) Christ our Passover Lamb was taken when Adam fell, and He was kept for four days (i.e. 4,000 years) and slain "in the evening." (Exod.12:6, 1Cor.10:1-11, Matt.5:17-19, Col.2:16-17) At the end of the fourth day of God's Redemptive Week, Christ was sacrificed to set mankind free from the bondage of sin.

 Our Calendar reads, 2008
(Another two days, this completes 6 days)

This study IS NOT TEACHING  Jesus will return at the year 2,000. However, it is teaching that we are in the final count down for Christ's return. (Review Phase 2 - God's Purpose is almost completed) To predict the day and the hour of the Second Coming is contrary to scripture. (Matt.24:36) God has promised that "that day will NOT overtake you as a thief"(1Thes.5:4) The Church will have time to prepare, as Noah did. (Matt:24:37) Noah knew when to get on the Ark.

This Redemptive Week study provides a framework for when to get on.

Regardless of our calendar, God's Pattern of working six days and resting the seventh, remains true. When Adam sinned, God went to work with His Redemptive plan. He cannot deny His work pattern! (2Tim.2:13) Our calendar is not correct anyway. It is not clear, that this year is 2008 A.D. anyway

After Christ returns there will be a thousand year rest, the seventh day

When The Lord Jesus Christ returns, Satan is bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years, and God's people reign with Christ for a thousand years. (Rev.20:1-4) This is the seventh day of God's Week.

Other patterns to overlay God's Redemptive Week

The Ark of the Covenant - Josh.3:1-6

The Ark of the Covenant went ahead of the "church in the wilderness," 2,000 cubits when crossing the river Jordan, on their way to defeating Jericho. (Jericho and the sounding of the trumpets is a foreshadowing of the "last trump" when the kingdoms of this world fall.- Rev.11:15, 1Cor.15:51-52) The Lord Jesus Christ, our Ark of the Covenant (Review Phase 4) has gone on before us, (2,000 years ago) waiting for the Church to cross over.

Jesus is our Ark because, (a) It was the ONLY meeting place between God and man.- Exod.25:10-22, John.14:6, 1Tim.2:5, 1John.2:2 "propitiation" is mercy seat (Exod.25:22) in the Greek. (b) It was a blood stained mercy seat.- Lev.16:15, Heb.9:13,24. (c) The Ark of the Covenant lead Israel - Num.10:33-36, John.16:13-15. [Note: The Ark never stopped traveling until taken into Solomon's Temple - 2Chron.5:5-9] (Review Phase 2) (d) Wherever the Ark was, there was victory - Num.14, 2Cor.2:14. (e) God reigned over Israel through the Ark - Exod.25:22, 1Sam.8:6, Acts.2:30.

The Good Samaritan - Luke.10:25-37

The good Samaritan, (Jesus) finds "a certain man" that fell among thieves. (Humanity that had been robbed, destroyed by sin.-John.10:1-10) The Samaritan provides "two pence" (two days wages.-Matt.20:1-16) with the promise of returning. Jesus is the good Samaritan because, (a) He made Himself of no reputation.(Phil.2:7) (b)The history of Samaria was one of rebellion against God, separated from the covenants of promise. A picture of condition of man because of sin. (1Kings.11- 2Kings.17:23, Eph.2:1-12) (c) Jesus "humbled Himself" (Phil.2:8) and identified with the Samaritan who were low class. (John.4:9) Jesus was of the tribe of Judah (Rev.5:5, John.1:11, Matt:1:1-17, Rom.9:1-6) (d) It was the "good" Samaritan. (Luke.18:19 A statement of Deity. "none is good, save on, that is God.")

Noah and the 120 years and the year of Jubilee - Gen.6, Lev.25

Mankind was given 120 years until the judgement of God. (Gen.6:3) Moses was a 120 years old when he died. (Deut.34:7) There were 120 priests sounding trumpets at the dedication of Solomon's Temple. (2Chron.5:12-14) When these priests sounded, the Glory of the Lord filled the house, and the priests could not stand. On the Day of Pentecost there 120 in the upper room, and God filled them with His Spirit. (Acts.1-2) In each example it was the end of all flesh.

Now add in "the year of Jubilee"
which was to be celebrated every 50th.year. (Lev.25:1-13) This was the year of Liberty to all the inhabitants of the land. Every mans land was to be returned to him. Even the land was liberated. This will be fulfilled when Jesus returns, and the Millennium begins. (the Seventh day) 120 Jubilee's (i.e. 120x50) is 6,000 years. (i.e. six days) Something to think about.

After two days He will revive us, and in the Third Day we will live in His sight

Hosea.6:2
There is no record of this coming to pass during the time of Hosea "in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Joash, king of Israel" (Hosea.1:1-2, 2Chron.26-32) There is still no fulfillment after Hezekiah (2Chron.33-36) to the Babylonian Captivity. There is still no record of Hosea's word being fulfilled in Ezra or Nehemiah. Now we are in the 400 year silence between the Old and New Testaments, and still no fulfillment! Therefore, the Word of the Lord through Hosea must take place between the Cross and the Second Coming. (Review Phase 6) This answer is, after the 5th.and 6th.day of God's Redemptive Week He will revive us and the third day (i.e. the 7th.day) we will live in His sight.

The application of the Tabernacle of Moses

(This requires Phase 4 to fully appreciate this thought) The earthly Tabernacle of Moses is a pattern of the true Tabernacle that the Lord pitch and not man.(Heb.8:1-5) Heaven itself! (Heb.9:24) EVERYTHING (including the measurements) are a pattern of how God works within His six day work week. The Outer court of the Tabernacle of Moses, totals 1500 cubits.(Exod.27:9-19) This parallels the 1500 years of the Law until Christ. The outer had the Brazen (Brass) Altar (Exod.27:1-6) and Brazen Laver.(Exod.38:8) Brass is a type of Judgement. (1Cor.13:1, Deut.28:23) The Holy Place totals 2000 cubits, the 5th.and 6th.day of the Redemptive Week. The Holy Place had the Oil (anointing-Exod.26:31-40, Rev.1:20;2:5) and the Table of Shewbread (fellowship of the saints-Exod.25:23-30, 1Cor.10:16) and the Golden Altar of Incense (our prayer and worship-Exod.30:1-7, Psalm.141:1-2, Rev.8:3). All these are to do with the New Testament Church. The Most Holy totaled 1,000 cubits, the 7th.day, the millennium, the 1,000 year rest. This is where we will "live in His sight." (Hosea.6:2)

The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (The Godhead)

The first 2 days of God's Redemptive Week begins with Adam (the father of all living) and ends with Abraham (the father of all who believe). The next 2 days beginnings with the offering up of Isaac the only begotten son, and ends with Jesus the only begotten Son. The next 2 days begins with the out pouring of the Spirit of God (the early rain) at Pentecost, and ends will end with another outpouring of God's Spirit, the latter rain. (See Phases 8,9,11) This is God bearing witness to His creation before the Second Coming.

What happens now?
The year 2,000 has come and gone

Does this mean we disregard this entire study. Should we join the "scoffers" (2Peter.3:1-9) and say "where is the promise of His Coming?" Of course not!  Remember, the "scoffers" are placing their confidence in a calendar that was UNRELIABLE! God's pattern IS RELIABLE!  As it was in the days of Noah, we must build according to the pattern. (Gen.6, Heb.11:7) Philosophy of man, vain deceit of man, the traditions of man, and the rudiments of this world will not build an Ark! (Col.2:8) [Visit www.bibletruthsfortoday.mysite.com  "The Days of Noah and our Present Day"] Note: What Noah built, was what preserved him. What are we building? (1Cor.3:11-15) Don't make the mistake of measuring time by what happens in your generation, or even your fathers, fathers generation. (2Peter.3:4) Remember, a thousand of our years, is as a day to God. There was 120 years from the time that Noah received the pattern of the Ark, and the time of the destruction. (Gen.6:3)

These Scoffers were "false prophets" and "teachers" in the Church. These were not the unbeliever.

To completely disregard God working six days and resting the seventh, is to reject God's work pattern! (Remember the "Lord on whose hand the king leaned." 2Kings.7:1-2)

                                                     A BRIEF REVIEW OF PHASE 1,2 & 3

(1)  God has given His Word to us, as He did to Noah. (Phase 1)
(2)  God revealed His Purpose in His Word, as He did to Noah, and a pattern to build by. (Phase 2)
(3)  Within this purpose and pattern God has given a time table, as He did to Noah. (Phase 3)

Next is Phase 4 - The Tabernacle of Moses

This phase will expand the pattern (blueprint) and give more insight into God's Redemptive Plan

(There is more! John.16:12-13, 1Cor.13:9-12)
